Well, new research has found that women are the world’s biggest solo travelers and there are plenty of reasons why.

For a long time, women have struggled to find their place in the world. They have often been stuck at home, been left straggling behind men, and they have wondered what their purpose is. However, traveling gives women the freedom they want and need to be true individuals. They don’t have to rely on anyone else or ask for permission, and they get to learn more about themselves and the world in one go. Why wouldn’t women want to travel the world?
Men Travel As A Pack
You just have to look back to the dawn of time to know that men travel as a pack. This can also be found in modern day life. While men do go out on their own, a large portion of them are under the impression that traveling is a group activity. They will either go with their partner or their friends, but rarely on their own. However, women have also been more solo in their life ventures. Although it’s not correct to say that men never want to learn new skills or practice new techniques for life, women tend to want to learn something special more often. When they go through a rough time or find themselves soul-searching, women will often find solace in travel and exploration, whereas men will normally find other methods of coping. It’s because of this that many solo female travelers find themselves traveling after a particularly testing or boring time in their lives.
