Try To Move Around
Your vacation time allows you to do absolutely nothing for a week or two, so why would you want to move around? Well, this could actually have two benefits. Not only do you get your heart pumping and your body moving, but you also get to see what the destination is truly like. So many people just stay in their hotels when they go on vacation, but where’s the fun in that? Wander around the local town, have a walk along the beach, or even go on a hike into the mountains.
Eat Fresh Foods
Although it can be easy to opt for the unhealthy options when you go out for dinner on vacation, it’s always best to avoid a whole plate of fried food. Sure, you can make the most of the yumminess, but add a few fresh foods to your table every now and then. This could just be a piece of fruit after your morning breakfast, or it could be a side of vegetables with your dinner. You could even have a fresh snack ready and waiting for you when you get peckish by the pool!

Drink A Lot Of Water
You should always drink a lot of water anyway, but this is even more important when you are on vacation. This is especially true if you fly to the destination, as the recycled air within the plane cabin can leave you feeling and looking extremely dehydrated. If you are going to a hot country, you also need to get your fill of the ol’ H20. Just remember to check whether you can drink the tap water or not.
Vacations are always fun, but that doesn’t mean you have to scrimp on your healthy lifestyle. Thankfully, you can mix and match fun and health at the same time!
