There is one thing that most of us cannot deny – puppies are adorable as heck! Besides being cute and adorable, studies have shown that interacting with animals can be hugely calming and therapeutic. In fact, the practice of animal therapy has become so popular in recent times that there are a number of spas and hotels that have started including it as a package for their guests. The Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Colorado is one of the few places that has managed to incorporate animal therapy into their hotel package for guests to enjoy in a unique way.
Guests staying at their Luxury Suite will have the opportunity to enjoy petting 6-10 puppies while sipping on delicious bubbly prosecco on ice in the comfort of their own suite. The puppies are provided by a local no-kill animal shelter known as Lifeline Puppy Rescue and a helper from Lifeline will be present to ensure that any questions you have can be answered as well as taking care of the puppies themselves. There are only a few ways in which you can thoroughly enjoy the overwhelming cuteness of puppies and having a whole bunch of them in your hotel room is definitely going to give shrills of gleeful excitement because, well, ‘cuteness overload’!
The offer will be held on the 26th of August and the main idea is to try and promote the adoption of rescued dogs, rather than buying new ones. So don’t be shy – if you get a tingling in your heart, feel free to adopt one of the puppies at no extra cost! What better way to come back from a holiday or honeymoon than with an adorable puppy to remember the occasion! Also, it’s a good point to remember that all the proceeds of the package go to helping the rescue center, so even if you don’t adopt, your money will be going to a good cause!
