The obvious choice can be Disneyland or Disney World, however, here are five alternatives for you to switch it up this summer.

1. Hershey Park – Pennsylvania, USA
What better combination than chocolate and rollercoasters? That is exactly what you can get at Hersheypark. Beyond the rollercoasters and attraction, the park features a water park and zoo. Most importantly, you can check out Hershey’s Chocolate World where you can taste test lots of chocolate and even design your own chocolate bar.

2. Legoland – Dubai, UAE
The newest of the Legoland parks has 40 rides and attractions spread across six themed areas. The park also features the Dubai skyline built out of Legos and the opportunity to build your own skyline. If it gets too hot, you can always cool down at the Lego-themed waterpark next door.

3. Efteling – Noord Brabant, Netherlands
Travel to a fantasy land full of unicorns, trolls, elves, and talking trees. The theme park is set in a forested area and features attractions that will let your imagination go wild. If you need a break from the rides and rollercoasters, you can always take a stroll through the park’s gardens.

4. Knott’s Berry Farm – California, USA
Originally built as an imitation ghost town, Knott’s Berry Farm now features fast rollercoasters and a Snoopy-themed area for younger children while keeping the ghost town decorations. If the rollercoasters aren’t enough to get your adrenaline pumping, a visit during their Halloween Knott’s Scary Farm event should do the trick.

5. Blackpool Pleasure Beach – England, UK
England’s iconic theme park brings together the old and the new with plenty of variety. It has 145 different attractions! The park has Nickelodeon Land, sleek new rides and England’s first double-launch rollercoaster.
