The Ultimate Guide to a Road Trip in California

You probably don’t need us to tell you that California is one of the most popular destinations in the United States. People travel from across the globe to check out the City of Angels, the impressive deserts and valleys, the stunning National Parks, and just about everything else that this state has to offer. Of course, you could fly from one place to another, but why would you deny yourself the ultimate Californian road trip?

Days 1 – 2: Explore Los Angeles

No trip to California would be complete without checking out Los Angeles. By spending your first two days in this city, you can check out the Walk of Fame, hike up to the Hollywood sign, make your way to one of the amazing beaches, or just sit in one of their many coffee shops and keep your eyes peeled for celebrities…

Days 2 – 3: Make Your Way To San Diego

There is so much to see and do in San Diego, but we’d suggest hitting the waves and seeing what the San Diego surf has to offer you. Once you’re done, wander around Belmont Park, Balboa Park, and hike Point Loma.

Days 3 – 5: Wander Around Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park really does need to be seen to be believed. With amazing landscapes through the whole park, you can check out deserts filled with cacti, rugged hills made from giant boulders, and wander around some of the many hiking trails that are on offer here. You can even camp here, as well!

Days 5 – 7: Check Out Sequoia And Kings Canyon National Parks

It’s a long drive to these National Parks, but they are well worth it. From the gigantic trees at Sequoia National Park to the stunning lakes at Kings Canyon, you can find two birds with one berry during the last few days of your Californian road trip.
